1984 is a single rendered by Charlie Puth and was released in March 16^th, 2014. When it comes to Charlie Puth, the legend song See You Again must be the first to jump into your mind, his symbolic broken eyebrow and handsome looks following. Born in New Jersey in 1991, Charlie Puth showed great interest to music from early years. He began to learn the piano from 4 years old and jazz music from 10. On December 10^th, 2010, he had his first single The Otto Tunes released.

The song has a strong rhythm. The fantastic sound effect of the background acts as a perfect foil for his voice. Compared with a lot of male singers, he is better suited to singing high notes with a voice which is not very deep or magnetic. His voice is so clean and effective that all kinds of music can be best presented.

1973, a single of All The Lost Souls, was released on May 11^th, 2004 by James Blunt. James Blunt had his first single Back to Bedlam released on October 11^th, 2004. He rose to fame overnight with his single You're Beautiful. His blue voice which was evaluated as “fallen angel” contributes to the success of the smashing blue song.

Simona is a name of a tavern built in 1973. As time goes by and everything changes greatly, James blunt had a unique feeling about Simona. He spent every Saturday here till dawn. For James blunt, Simona plays the role of an old, beautiful dream which origins from 1973. The number itself is nothing special, it’s the addition of special people and stories that makes it unique.

The singer of the song is Don Mclean, an American folkie. The song tells a story about a war in 1967 – “my” friend old Joe and “me” went to the front together, but old Joe died in battle. Those who were heartbroken for his death blamed it all to me, making the heroes like “me” unaccepted by the society.

这首歌的作者是Don Mclean，美国纽约民谣摇滚歌手，歌曲讲述了一个有关战争的故事——1967年，“我”和朋友老Joe一起上前线为国家效力，但老Joe不幸战死了，为Joe的死去而伤痛的人将对死亡的憎恨牵连于“我”，像“我”这样的英雄没有了立足之地，不被社会接纳。

Don Mclean’s voice, which is really melodious and attractive, sounds just like old records. Is sounds as if he is telling you a true story whose protagonist is exactly himself. In the modern society, few songs are able to deeply reflect the social reality as literary outputs. But Don Mclean managed to do this. The song is a vivid reflection of the social situation of the “lost generation”, which lets us be filled with such a profound emotion.
