近日，被中国网友戏称为“山东天后”的美国歌手蕾哈娜在社交媒体上引发了一波争议，不是因为作品，而是她的着装。
Harper's Bazaar China unveiled its August cover, featuring Rihanna. She is no stranger to gracing the covers of major publications. But this time, some have taken issue with Rihanna's cover wardrobe and makeup, accusing her of cultural appropriation.
《时尚芭莎》推出了8月刊封面图，封面人物正是蕾哈娜。她自然也不是第一次出现在时尚刊物的封面，不过这一回，她的妆容和服饰，却让人不少人质疑她“文化挪用”。

文化挪用
Cultural appropriation is the adoption of certain elements from another culture without the consent of people who belong to that culture.
文化挪用指的是未经同意直接使用不属于自身文化的某些要素。
It harms cultures when a prevailing culture adopts things from a different culture without interpreting them, or manipulates them in ways that contradict the origins, and substitutes the dominant culture's idea of what the other culture is like.
若主流文化未经解释便使用其它民族文化的内容，或违背该文化原始含义，并用主流文化思想取代另一文化原本思想，都会对该文化造成伤害。
In one photo, Rihanna gazes down, a dainty Chinese fan in one hand and a bright red sash around her waist.
在其中一张照片里，蕾哈娜低眉垂眼，一手拿着精致的中式团扇，腰间系一条红色腰带。
In another, she poses in front of a traditional folding screen, the golden ornaments in her hair reminiscent of the royal fashions of ancient China.
而另一张照片中，蕾哈娜在一道古典折叠屏风前摆着造型，金色头饰颇像中国古代皇家崇尚的装束。
They were intended to show what happens "when western style icon meets eastern aesthetic," the publication said on Instagram.
官方Instagram介绍称，这一系列照片体现了“东西方美学碰撞”。
“蕾哈娜身上一直有一种勇敢的真实。她不在乎大众如何评价她，而是执着于自己所爱。时隔四年，蕾哈娜再次成为我们的封面明星，呈现东西方美学碰撞！”
不过，蕾哈娜的这一系列照片却在社交媒体上引发讨论。
Some social media users have heaped praise on the images, while others expressed concern about whether it's acceptable for a non-Chinese person to adorn themselves with items from the country's history and culture.
一些网友对这些照片赞不绝口，也有人质疑一个外国人用中国历史文化中的饰物装扮自己，是否可以被接受。
“我知道大家都喜欢她，不过为什么这就不是文化挪用呢？或者因为是蕾哈娜，所以就没人在意这个问题？又或者这仅仅是时尚？”
据CNN报道，有关文化挪用（cultural appropriation）的讨论已经存在很多年了，包括谁在什么场合下，可以穿什么衣服等等问题，这些话题的热度也越来越高。

Rihanna has previously come under fire herself — in October 2017, she was criticized for dressing like the ancient Egyptian queen Nefertiti in a photo shoot for Vogue Arabia.
蕾哈娜此前也遇到过类似问题，2017年10月，她在为阿拉伯版《VOGUE》拍摄的照片中，扮做了古埃及王后奈费尔提蒂的样子。
Others dragged Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner into the debate after both reality stars had recently been accused of cultural appropriation – Jenner for a Vogue cover where she wore a hairstyle many felt was similar to an afro and Kardashian for her new shapewear line which she named Kimono.
除了蕾哈娜，网友们还提到了金·卡戴珊和“肯豆”肯德尔·詹娜，这两位真人秀明星都曾“触雷”。“肯豆”曾在《VOGUE》上以类似非裔蓬蓬头的造型出现，而卡戴珊则是把自己的新塑形内衣品牌起名字叫“和服”（暗藏了自己Kim的名字）。
尽管有人指责蕾哈娜的封面，也有人选择力挺：
“这不是文化挪用，因为整个《时尚芭莎》中国版的团队都是中国人，也特别在帖子里说明了。是中国人，把蕾哈娜打扮成了这个样子。”
这样的观点也不乏支持者：
“拍摄由中国艺术家指导，用于在中国出版的杂志，在那里中国人也不是少数族裔。文化挪用指的是你将其他人的文化据为己有，蕾哈娜这样的装扮更像是对文化的致敬。赞许，而非剽窃挪用。”
不过，国内网友的评论就比较积极了……
