《Five hundred miles》由美国民谣歌手Hedy West创作，并于1961年率先发行在民歌三重唱The Journeymen(旅行者)的同名专辑中。

2013年Justin Timberlake 曾联手Carey Mulligan和Stark Sands在主演影片Inside Llewyn Davis《醉乡民谣》中深情献唱这首歌。影片讲述了歌手勒维恩·戴维斯在20世纪60年代美国民谣盛行时期不懈奋斗的故事。歌曲作为背景旋律，深沉悠扬，很好地诠释了电影的主题。
