OH! MY! GAWWWWWWWWD! In a move that’ll blow gossip lovers’ minds, Chinese media has confirmed that Katy Perry will be performing in Shanghai later this month at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion alongside her arch-nemesis Taylor Swift.

Chinese media are citing a seemingly leaked letter from Katy Perry to the Chinese government confirming that the “roar” singer will perform here in accordance with local laws and that she promises “not to participate in any activities that jeopardize China’s unity and integrity.”

For those not in the know, Katy Perry has long-term beef with Taylor Swift, another singer who’s set to perform at the fashion show. We tried to research the history of the beef for you guys and apparently there was some issue with Perry stealing dancers from Swift and then they called each other out in songs or something.

As well as Perry and Swift, fellow popstar Harry Styles has also been confirmed for the event. Apparently British heart-throb Styles used to date Swift and there’s some underlying beef between those two as well, with Swift calling out the former One Direction star in a song.

Whatever the story, we’re hoping the multitude of beefs will continue to simmer and escalate over the next month so that when the three pop-titans do finally meet on November 28th we get some gossip juicier than a Ding Tai Fung Xiaolong bao.
