<Tammy>

Wish Iknew if he knew what I'm dreaming of,听上去像绕口令,其实这种感觉人人都曾经历过。

I hear the cottonwoods whisperin' above

Tammy,Tammy, Tammy's in love

The oldhootie owl hootie-hoo's to the dove

Tammy,Tammy, Tammy's in love

Does mylover feel what I feel when he comes near?

My heartbeats so joyfully

You'dthink that he could hear

Wish Iknew if he knew what I'm dreaming of

Tammy,Tammy, Tammy's in love

Whippoorwill,whippoorwill, you and I know

Tammy,Tammy can't let him go

Thebreeze from the bayou keeps murmuring low

Tammy,Tammy, you love him so

When thenight is warm, soft and warm

I longfor his charms

I'd singlike a violin

If I werein his arms

Wish Iknew if he knew what I'm dreaming of

Tammy,Tammy, Tammy's in love

<Tell Laura I love her>

(No one knows what happened that dayhow his car overturned in flames), Tell Laura I love her...my lovefor her will never die".

Laura and Tommy were lovers

He wanted to give her everything

Flowers, presents and most of all, awedding ring

He saw a sign for a stock car race

A thousand dollar prize it read

He couldn't get Laura on the phone

So to her mother Tommy said

Tell Laura I love her, tell Laura Ineed her

Tell Laura I may be late

I've something to do, that cannot wait

He drove his car to the racing grounds

He was the youngest driver there

The crowed roared as they started therace

'Round the track they drove at adeadly pace

No one knows what happened that day

How his car overturned in flames

But as they pulled him from thetwisted wreck

With his dying breath, they heard himsay

Tell Laura I love her, tell Laura Ineed her

Tell Laura not to cry

My love for her will never die

And in the chapel where Laura prays

For Tommy who passed away

It was just for Laura he lived and died

Alone in the chapel she can hear himcry

Tell Laura I love her, tell Laura Ineed her

Tell Laura not to cry

My love for her will never die

The Answer To Everything - Girl Answer Songs OfThe '60'S中,Marilyn Michaels演唱了一首Tell Tommy I miss him作为Laura对本曲的回应。

Tommy mysweetheart has gone now

He's upin the heaven somewhere so little star high above

If yousee Tommy tell him all my love

'TellTommy I love him, tell Tommy I miss him

Tell himthough I may cry, My love for him will never die'

He drovehis car in the stock car race

To winmoney so we could wed

He wantedit so much to make me his wife

Mow mylovely Tom though he lost his life

I'm solonely without him near

Oh, how Imiss his warm embrace

I love noother, I want him to know

Oh littlestar please tell him so

Althoughhe wanted to give me the world

Why didhe do such a reckless thing

Littlestar he should realize

I waswretched and mean when he looked into my eyes

'TellTommy I love him, tell Tommy I miss him

Tell himthro' I may cry, My love for him will never die.

Althoughhe wanted to give me the world

Why didhe do such a reckless thing

Littlestar he should have realized

I wasricher than a queen when he looked into my eyes.

TellTommy I love him

TellTommy I miss him

Tell himthough I may try

My lovefor him will never die.

<Hey Jude>

麦卡特尼说:我开始时想嘿,朱利斯,那是指朱利安,别沮丧,唱首悲伤的歌曲,来舒缓自己的心情(don't make it bad, take a sad song andmake it better)。

<Hey Jude>

Hey Jude,don't make it bad

Take asad song and make it better

Rememberto let her into your heart

Then youcan start to make it better

Hey Jude,don't be afraid

You weremade to go out and get her

Theminute you let her under your skin

Then youbegin to make it better

Andanytime you feel the pain, hey Jude, refrain

Don'tcarry the world upon your shoulders

For wellyou know that it's a fool who plays it cool

By makinghis world a little colder

Hey Jude,don't let me down

You havefound her, now go and get her

(Let itout and let it in, Hey Jude)

Rememberto let her into your heart

Then youcan start to make it better

So let itout and let it in, hey Jude, begin

You'rewaiting for someone to perform with

And don'tyou know that it's just you, hey Jude, you'll do

Themovement you need is on your shoulder

Hey Jude,don't make it bad

Take asad song and make it better

Rememberto let her under your skin

Thenyou'll begin to make it

Betterbetter better better better better, oh

[Outro]

Na na nana na, na na na, hey Jude

Na na nana na, na na na, hey Jude...

<Vincent>

歌词描绘出树林和水仙花(sketchthe trees and the daffodils清晨的田园里琥珀色的谷物(morningfields of amber grain描述了梵高作品中数次出现的琥珀色的小麦。其中有几句歌词也婉转地提到了梵高的自画像,例如饱经风霜的脸上写满了痛苦,在艺术家的手里得到抚慰(weatheredfaces lined in pain / are soothed beneath the artist's loving hand。

(Theywould not listen / they're not listening still / perhaps they never will)。

Starry, starry night

paint your palette blue and gray

look out on a summer's day

with eyes that know the darkness in my soul.

Shadows on the hills

sketch the trees and the daffodils

catch the breeze and the winter chills

in colors on the snowy linen land.

And now I understand

what you tried to say to me

and how you suffered for your sanity

and how you tried to set them free.

They would not listen they did not know how

perhaps they'll listen now.

Starry starry night

flaming flowers that brightly blaze

swirling clouds in violet haze

reflect in Vincent's eyes of china blue.

Colors changing hue

morning fields of amber grain

weathered faces lined in pain

are soothed beneath the artist's loving hand.

And now I understand

what you tried to say to me

and how you suffered for your sanity

and how you tried to set them free.

They would not listen they did not know how

perhaps they'll listen now.

For they could not love you

but still your love was true

and when no hope was left in sight on that

starry starry night.

You took your life as lovers often do,

But I could have told you Vincent

this world was never meant for one as beautiful as you.

Starry starry night

portraits hung in empty halls

Frame less heads on nameless walls

with eyes that watch the world and can't forget.

Like the stranger that you've met

the ragged men in ragged clothes

the silver thorn of bloodyrose

lie crushed and broken on the virgin snow.

And now I think I know

what you tried to say to me

and how you suffered for your sanity

and how you tried to set them free.

They would not listen they're not listening still

perhaps they never will.

<DannyBoy>

Oh, Danny Boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling
From glen to glen, and down themountain side,
The summer's gone, and all theroses falling,
It's you, it's you must go and Imust bide.

But come ye back when summer's in the meadow,
Or when the valley's hushed andwhite with snow,
It's I'll be here in sunshine orin shadow,
Oh, Danny Boy, oh Danny Boy, Ilove you so!

But when ye come, and all the flowers are dying,
If I am dead, as dead I well maybe,
Ye'll come and find the placewhere I am lying,
        And kneel and say an Ave therefor me;

And I shall hear, though soft you tread above me,
And all my grave will warmer, sweeter be,
For you will bend and tell methat you love me,
And I shall sleep in peace untilyou come to me!

< Je m'appelle Helene >
