Dancing and Acting Courses

Actors and teachers from the London West End theater will help you listen to your heart, and learn how to use your body to express your emotions and tell your story. You'll learn how to analyze scripts, segment texts and experience the depth of words and ancient poetry, getting ready for Sunday's performance and experience the teamwork of the theater as well.

Singing and Master Courses

Singing techniques, vocal warm-up, basic musical theory and more will be brought to you from scratch by West End vocal teachers. All regardless of beginners or students with stage experiences. Practise for Sunday's performance, experience the teamwork of the theatre.

Pineapple工作室&Debbie Moore

Pineapple 工作室，是伦敦最优秀的艺术培训机构。创始人Debbie Moore是知名模特，舞蹈艺术家，于1979年在伦敦市中心Covent Garden创立Pineapple工作室，用“每一个人都可以舞蹈”的理念激励了大批艺术家和年轻人，曾经前来学习舞蹈的知名艺术家有麦当娜，1D以及亚洲歌星蔡依林。经过近40年的发展，Pineapple工作室已经成为全欧洲舞蹈培训种类最齐全，师资力量最豪华的艺术机构。目前签约老师近250名，注册学员近4000人，舞蹈课程涵盖芭蕾，踢踏，爵士，现代舞，歌舞剧，街舞，及各类民族舞等。

在艺术之外，Debbie Moore女士也是企业家的典范，她在艺术生涯中观察到舞者的需要，成功与美国杜邦集团开发出了棉/Lycra混合弹力面料，并由此成为伦敦证交所第一位成功上市IPO的女企业家。

2010年，Debbie Moore 女士因其杰出贡献被女王授予大英帝国勋章OBE。

Debbie Moore OBE, founder of Pineapple Dance Studios, began her journey by winning the Honey Magazine modelling competition at the age of 15, becoming an international model and being the first woman to list her company on the London Stock Exchange. 

Debbie founded the Dance Studios in 1979. Her aim was to make dance accessible to everyone, where absolute beginners could mix with professional dancers and celebrities including Madonna and 1D.

Nowadays Pineapple has become the most reputable dance studio in Europe with over 250 teachers coaching over 300 classes per week to 4000 members. According to BBC London, it is "one of the world's premier dance studios" andBallet.co.uk called it a "mecca for dancers". It is also well known as a rehearsal studio used by celebrities, which have included Madonna, Beyoncé, Girls Aloud and Kylie Minogue.

Inspired by the dancers’ style Debbie developed Cotton/Lycra with DuPont and was the first fashion designer to use the versatile fabric for dance wear, followed by bodies, leggings, dresses and skirts. These items revolutionized fashion and helped to create the global Pineapple brand that continues to be a staple of every woman’s wardrobe today. With her Hepburn range she became the first to produce outerwear using Cotton/Lycra.

In the 2010 New Year’s honour list, Debbie Moore was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to business, presented by Her Majesty The Queen.

Karen Estabrook

Pineapple 最资深的爵士舞导师及编舞，有近20年的执教经验。早年加入知名艺术机构UDC（Union Dance Company），在英国及欧洲的知名剧场巡演，并在诸多脍炙人口的艺术节目如“South Bank Show” 当中出镜。Karen曾为很多商务客户如一级方程式赛车，三菱集团提供服务，目前Karen每周在Pineapple 授课13节，她的很多学生已经成为舞蹈老师，有些已经在Pineapple执教。

Karen is a professional jazz dancer, teacher and choreographer.She trained in contemporary dance and classical ballet, and began her career with the prestigious Union Dance Company, in London, performing in the U.K. and Europe.

She went on to develop a more commercial career in musical theatre and corporate entertainment, choreographing fashion shows and videos for independent music artists.

Karen is also available for private tuition, & through her coaching & dance classes many pupils have progressed into full-time dance schools and dance careers.

COMMERCIAL JAZZ

Vibrant, expressive, diverse up-to-the-minute jazz classes fusing various styles and techniques from lyrical and contemporary jazz to commercial. Dance to current hits from various music genres for an eclectic jazz dance experience.

PURE TECHNIQUE

A ‘boot camp’ for students of all levels and from all dance backgrounds, using classical ballet, contemporary and jazz techniques with barre work designed to strengthen, improve balance and placement; centre work focusing on balance, turns and jumps to improve skill set.

Alex Tunner

Alex Tunner 的舞蹈职业生涯开始于一名专业的舞蹈演员，10年之中在古典芭蕾，爵士，音乐剧及商业舞蹈方面接受了高强度培训。她曾在影视剧，剧场及MTV中与知名艺术家Michael Jackson, Ronan Keating, Cliff Richard，Jamelia以及知名舞蹈艺术家Chritopher Huggins合作。 目前Alex是一名专业的舞蹈老师及编舞，她丰富的舞蹈技能为学员发掘深层的潜能。 

Alex is an acclaimed choreographer and teacher who started her career as a professional dancer following over 10years of extensive training in classical ballet, jazz, lyrical, musical theatre and commercial styles. Alex works internationally in film, television, theatre, cabaret and music videos. She has worked with many celebrated artists including Michael Jackson, Ronan Keating, Cliff Richard, Jamelia, The Cure and Eartha Kitt.

She has worked with renowned teachers including choreographer Christopher Huggins of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre; she has focused her creative skills on choreography and artistic direction within the entertainment industry. She is also passionate about sharing the knowledge she has gleaned from these diverse dance experiences in her classes.

Alex has an extensive knowledge in all disciplines, bringing energy, style and passion to her students. She is known for her inspiring and challenging classes, helping students improve their technique, performance skills and learn from her knowledge of the dance industry.

Alex’s Jazz will challenge and inspire students in a range of commercial, lyrical and musical theatre styles.The warm up gives students/dancers the physical tools to improve technically and Alex’s direction brings out their best performance in the choreography section. This class is for experienced dancers from general level to advanced and those wanting to work the industry, with across the floor work in the higher level class. Be prepared to work hard and enjoy the experience!

Jane Marney

Jane 在Pineapple已经执教5年，她的专长是指导青少年在表演艺术方面发展专注力和协调能力和并增强自信心。她早年在Tiffany艺术学校学习然后开始了舞蹈职业生涯，并成为女子舞团Poison的一员，在Sky 1’s Got to Dance竞赛中进入半决赛。Poison舞团在很多节目及活动中出演，如 UK Stand Up, 戴安娜王妃奖，Dancers Delight等。Jane在2012获得了UDO世界冠军荣誉，曾为David Guetta伴舞。

此后，Jane一直专注发展编舞才华，并在Shaftesbury剧院及Echo Arena等知名剧场的大型活动中编舞。2017年Jane在全英That’s Showbiz竞赛中获得“最佳原创奖“并获得大赛第一名。

Jane has been a tutor at PPAS for the last five years and specialises in performing arts for the very young, Janes huge experience allows her and the rest of the chunks team to enable every child to develop the key skills of concentration, confidence and coordination which provide a solid foundation for continuing training for the rest of the school.

Jane trained at Tiffany Theatre College before moving on to her dance career. Jane danced for commercial girl group Poison, who were semi-finalists on Sky 1’s Got to dance. As part of Poison she went on to perform at events such as UK Stand Up, Princess Diana Awards, Dancers Delight and many other corporate events. Jane holds a UDO World championship title 2012 and has danced for celebrities such as David Guetta.

Since, Jane has focused on her choreography skills and has had her work grace the stage of some of the UK’s biggest venues including The Shaftesbury Theatre, London’s West End. The Echo Arena, Liverpool and Winter Gardens, Blackpool. Last year Jane choreographed for the Ideal Home Show, London and also won the national Thats Showbiz ‘Most Original Choreographer’ award with her choreography winning first place in the National finals.

Shaun Smith

Shaun Smith曾经为诸多明星伴舞，如Justin Bieber, Katie Perry, Professor Green, Will.i.am, Chery Cole 等。Shuan 也参演了很多影视剧，如“Into The Hoods” (饰演resident director), “The Mad Hatters Tea Party” (饰演dance captain) “I Cant Sing” 及“The Five And The Prophecy Prana” 等。

近年的电视节目也有Shuan活跃的身影，他在MOBO Awards, The X Factor, Children in Need, Britains Got Talent等脍炙人口的电视节目中都参与了演出。目前Shaun正在为KIDZBOP节目进行编舞。
