元宵由糯米制成，或实心，或带馅。取团圆之意，象征全家人团团圆圆，和睦幸福。
Yuanxiao is made of glutinous rice. Some kind of Yuanxiao is solid and some other kind is with stuffing. Yuanxiao means reunion. People eat this food to denote union, harmony and happiness for the family.
