Selena Gomez赛琳娜·戈麦斯先前不断在自己的Instagram更新自己与电音棉花糖Mashmello的合影，预告即将合作音乐制作，让不少粉丝都相当期待，而众所期待Selena Gomez的新歌Wolves终于在25日发布，这是她在9月进行肾脏移植手术后首发的音乐作品。
在今年2月与电音 DJ Kygo成功打造歌曲“ it ain't me”后，这回找来电音棉花糖Marshmello一同合作做出这首新歌Wolves，原来，这是与Selena Gomez合作多年的歌曲制作人Andrew Watt，在日本分享给Selena Gomez听的，当时她觉得这首歌很好听，而Andrew Watt也将此Demo传送给Marshmello，希望两人一同合作产出，Selena Gomez也表示想担任其中作词。
歌词看似讲述一段感情的结束，失意的女孩想挽回男友的爱，因此在黑暗中观察伺机而动，但却有粉丝提出一个有趣的观点，在拉丁语中wolves = lupus，暗指Selena的自体免疫疾病红斑性狼苍(SLE)，也就是之前接受肾脏移植的原因，因为SLE会去攻击健康完整的器官，就像是一颗藏在身体中的未爆弹，这与Wolves歌词里所想表达的非常相像，自己与身体是最甜蜜的关係，但这样的病却是最沉重的负担。
虽然这只是粉丝的猜测，但还是不免替Selena这么快就从移植手术中恢复而感到高兴，从今天开始就可以看见她宣传活动和演出，KUGOU.TV小编就觉得好兴奋阿!其实Selena昨天在Beasts 1就有说到，她其实早已在为2张专辑做准备，只是不想因为商业压力而发表，会等完全准备好时再与大家分享作品。
