It's a Wrap! A Delicious Look Back at 2017

Wow! It's almost 2018 already? The time sure does fly seeing as how we're constantly in a vegetative food-induced comatose state.

Kidding! It's been a busy year full of exciting news, fun campaigns, and, of course, eating.


Let's take a peek back at the last year in Sherpa's


We kicked off the (Chinese) year in style with our biggest company Spring Festival gala yet.

Jake Newby from Time Out Shanghai visited us in February to see what it's like to be a courier!


There's something a little different about that courier....


In March, we (finally) launched our redesigned website and iOS app...and then spent the rest of the year squashing bugs and fine-tuning our platforms. Thanks for sticking with us through the process!




We also eliminated the 'I-want-convenient-delivery-but-have-no-cash-and-don't-wanna-go-to-the-ATM' conundrum by starting to accept WeChat Wallet payments.

April Fool's Day saw some seriously cheesy celebrity puns.


Mmm, a bowl of steaming scientology....


Christine Asuncion and Jenny Gao from Spread the Bagel and Fly by Jing fame helped us shoot a rocking bagelwich video to kick off the spring!



June was all about celebrating our 18th birthday by reminiscing about all the good years and by giving you guys awesome presents including a one-of-a-kind VIP card for free delivery, a ¥5000 travel voucher, a dine-in voucher package for top restaurants across town, and special edition mugs.



Yea, we're still wondering how it got turned around like that. Shouldn't we have gotten the gifts?


We took advantage of the warm summer weather to team up with international football fans and play a tournament!



Hatsune also wanted to share their expert sushi knowledge with everyone over the summer!



Later on in the year, Game of Thrones frenzy gripped the office as we got ready for the latest season of treachery.



Travel fans also got to have some fun with our global bookmark challenge!



Pizza Marzano was kind enough to let us throw a Halloween party full of face painting and pizza making.



Last but not least, we hosted our biggest event ever in December! Our Tastebuds Food Festival was so much fun. Three cheers to all our fans and partner restaurants who made the festival a smashing event!




Thanks to everyone for making 2017 so wonderful. We're looking forward to spending 2018 with you all!
