Terms and conditions :

1. Cardmember (“Eligible Cardmembers”) is entitled to receive a complimentary Cathay Pacific round-trip air ticket to Hong Kong (“Gift”) (the “Promotion”) if all of the following criteria are met:-

a) You are an existing BOC Visa Infinite Cardmember (“Cardmember”);

b) You are the first 50 customers who has SMS to register and charge at least S$2,500 (“Qualifying Spend”) on your BOC Visa Infinite Credit Card (“Card”) from 7 November 2016 to 31 December 2016 (both dates inclusive)(the “Promotion Period”). Only purchases of goods and/or services (including internet purchases) charged to the Card will be considered as the Qualifying Spend under the Promotion. Fund transfers, reversals, instalments, tax payments, annual fees, bank charges, unposted, cancelled, disputed and refunded transactions will not qualify and are expressly excluded from the Qualifying Spend criteria; and

c) Your Card account is maintained in good standing and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner (as determined by BOC in its discretion).

2. The Promotion is only available to the first 50 Cardmembers who successfully register their Card (“Registered Card”) for the Promotion through SMS during the Promotion Period and met the criteria as set out above. To register for the Promotion, a Cardmember shall send a SMS to 79777 using the SMS registration format as follows : "BOCOFFER<space>VI<space>BOC VI Credit Card Number" (Example: BOCOFFER VI 4834482812345678).

3. BOC will not accept any:

a) attempt to register before or after the Promotion Period;

b) SMS that is not in the prescribed format; or

c) invalid credit card number.

All such registration shall be considered by BOC to be invalid and/or void.

4. BOC will send an acknowledgement via SMS to each Cardmember who had registered for the Promotion. However, such acknowledgement shall not be construed as a successful registration to participate in the Promotion or to be awarded the Gift. BOC is not obliged to notify Cardmembers of successful registration and Cardmembers shall not in any way hold BOC responsible for non-notification or undue reliance on their registration or on any acknowledgement received from BOC.

5. The speed and reliability of service of the Eligible Cardmember's mobile connection is dependent solely on his mobile serve providers. BOC is not responsible or reliable in any manner whatsoever for any delay in the transmission or receipt of any SMS registration, or any failure to register resulting from the same. Eligible Cardmember shall be solely responsible for all fees and charges imposed by their service providers in the SMS registration.

6. Each Eligible Cardmember is eligible for one (1) Gift only. BOC is not obliged to replace any Gift which has been lost, defaced, torn, damaged or stolen for whatever reasons.

7. The redemption letter for the Gift will be mailed to the successful Eligible Cardmember's address by 31 January 2017.

8. The Gift will cease to have any effect after its expiry date (if there is any). Use of the Gift is subject to the terms and conditions as may be imposed by the merchant. The Gift is neither refundable nor exchangeable for credit, cash, reward points or kinds in all cases, whether in full or in part. The Gift is not valid with any other promotion and may not be used in conjunction with other promotions, discounts, privileges or offers, unless otherwise stated. Cardmember is required to pay all relevant taxes and surcharges that will be incorporated into the Gift.

9. BOC is not an agent of the merchant and assumes no liability or responsibility for the quality of the goods & services provided using the Gift. Any dispute in respect of the quality or performance of the goods and/or services is to be resolved directly with the merchant.

10. BOC shall be entitled to recover the full cost or value of the Gift from the Eligible Cardmembers in the event that the relevant transactions relating to the Qualifying Spend are fraudulent, unauthorised, cancelled or reversed for any reason whatsoever.

11. BOC shall not be liable in any way to any Cardmember or any other person for any loss or damage or expenses arising out of or in connection with this Promotion, including without limitation, any loss, damage or expense from any late or non-notification.

12. BOC reserves the right to substitute or replace the Gift with another gift of similar value at any time without prior notice or reason.

13. Cardmembers that participate in this Promotion irrevocably consent and authorise BOC and its agents and vendors (including but not limited to the parties involved in organising, promoting and conducting the Promotion) to collect, use and disclose their personal data to any person for the purpose of the Promotion, and confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by the terms of BOC's Personal Data Protection Policy, as may be amended, supplemented and/or substituted by BOC from time to time, a copy of which can be found on www.bankofchina.com/sg/aboutus.

14. BOC reserves the right in its absolute discretion to amend, supplement or vary any of the terms and conditions of this Promotion (the “Terms and Conditions”) or change or withdraw this Promotion at any time without giving any reason or prior notice. In the case of any dispute, BOC's decision on all matters relation to the Promotion shall be final and no correspondence will be entertained. By participating in the Promotion, Cardmembers shall be deemed to have read, understood and accepted the Terms and Conditions. The Terms and Conditions are additional to the terms contained in the BOC Cardmember Agreement, which shall continue to apply.

15. In the event of any inconsistency of discrepancy between these Terms and Conditions and any information contained in the (i) brochures, marketing, promotional materials or (ii) the Chinese version of these Terms and Conditions and any information contained in the brochures, marketing, promotional materials relating to this Promotion, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

16. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and the Cardmembers participating in this Promotion irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
