大家好，又到了每天的英文绘本启蒙时间了，今天我们要共读的绘本是《Olivia》。

故事的主人公奥利维亚是一只萌萌的小猪姑娘，和很多小女孩一样天真烂漫。她会偷偷抹妈妈的口红、穿妈妈的高跟鞋照镜子，还会吓弟弟。要是出门，她还会自己搭配衣服呢！

《奥莉薇》

This is Olivia. She is good at lots of things.

这是奥莉薇。她擅长很多东西。

She is very good at wearing people out.

她经常把别人弄得精疲力尽。

She even wears herself out.

也不放过自己。

Olivia has a little brother named Ian. 

奥莉薇有一个小弟弟叫伊恩。

He's always copying.

他经常模仿奥莉薇。

Sometimes Ian just won't leave her alone,So Olivia has to be firm.

伊恩不时会围着奥莉薇打转，因此她没少想着把伊恩吓跑。

Olivia lives with her mother, her father, Her brother, her dog, Perry, and Edwin, the cat.

奥莉薇和爸爸、妈妈、弟弟、小狗佩里，以及小猫埃德温住在一起。

In the morning, after she gets up, and moves the cat.

早上起床后，奥莉薇先把小猫挪到一边.

And brushes her teeth,and combs her ears, and moves the cat.

刷牙，梳理耳朵，再把小猫抱回去。

Olivia gets dressed. She has to try on everything.

出门前，奥莉薇一定要把所有的衣服都试试。

On sunny days, Olivia likes to go to the beach.

晴天，奥莉薇喜欢去海滩。

She feels it's important to come prepared.

她觉得装备齐全最重要。

Last summer when Olivia was little,

去年夏天，那时奥莉薇比较小的时候，

Her mother showed her how to make sand castles.

她妈妈向她展示怎样制作沙子城堡。

She got pretty good.

奥莉薇做得很好。

Sometimes Olivia likes to bask in the sun.

有时奥莉薇喜欢晒太阳。

When her mother sees that she's had enough, they go home.

当妈妈看见她晒太阳晒的足够时，就叫她和弟弟一起回家。

Every day Olivia is supposed to take a nap.

每天妈妈都会提醒奥莉薇睡午觉。

"It's time for your you-know-what," Her mother says.

”你知道什么时候到了吧。”妈妈说。

Of course Olivia's not at all sleepy.

当然奥莉薇不是整天都睡觉。

On rainy days, Olivia likes to go to the museum.

雨天，奥莉薇喜欢去博物馆。

She heads straight for her favorite picture.

她直奔最喜欢的图画去。

Olivia looks at it for a long time. 

奥莉薇盯着这幅画好久好久。

What could she be thinking?

她能想些什么呢？

But there is one painting Olivia just doesn't get.

不过总有一副画让奥莉薇很不懂。

"I could do that in about five minutes," She says to her mother.

“如果是我，五分钟就能画完。”她对妈妈说。

As soon as she gets home she gives it a try.

她一回家马上就画了一幅图。

Time out.

时间到了。

After a nice bath,and a nice dinner,it's time for bed.

舒舒服服地泡了一个澡，吃了美美的晚餐，是时候睡觉了。

But of course Olivia's not at all sleepy.

然而奥莉薇不是一直睡觉的。

"Only five books tonight, Mommy," she says.

“今晚我只看5本书，妈咪。”奥莉薇说。

"No, Olivia,just one."

“不，奥莉薇，只能一本。”

"How about four?"

“四本嘛？”

"Two."

“2本。"

"Three."

“3本。”

"Oh, all right, three. But that's it!"

“哦，好吧，3本，不能再多了。”

When they've finished reading, Olivia's mother gives her a kiss and says,

故事讲完时，妈妈给了她一个晚安吻，说:

 "You know, you really wear me out. But I love you anyway."

"小家伙，你知道吗，你已经把我累昏了，不过我一直爱你。“

And Olivia gives her a kiss back and says,"I love you anyway too."

奥莉薇回了妈妈一个晚安吻说：”我也爱你，妈妈。”
