李宣恒被誉为当今难得一见的天才音乐少年,他拥有着与年龄不相符合的成熟与音乐表达能力。他在十四岁时就被澳洲西澳大学破格录取成为全澳洲最小的钢琴系大学生。宣恒的父亲李运生是一位钢琴教育家。在宣恒两岁时发现儿子有绝对音准(能知道声音的实际音高,并说出音名)与超强的音符记忆能力,于是开始正式教儿子弹琴。在两岁零九个月时宣恒参加了人生中的第一个比赛并获奖。三岁开始跟随父亲到欧洲、亚洲并世界各地演出。


四岁时宣恒于香港国际钢琴公开赛中获奖,六岁于 Buono and Bradshaw 美国国际音乐比赛中获奖。七岁于American Protégé 比赛中获奖并连续三届在美国天才儿童发展协会举办的“音乐之爱”国际音乐比赛中获得金奖。之后获得了多个国际钢琴大赛的冠军。


2009 年宣恒获邀在纽约 Merkin Hall 演出,2010 年获邀在世界著名的卡耐基演奏厅与施坦威音乐厅演出。宣恒也多次获邀在一些大型活动中演出例如:亚美尼亚青少年艺术节、波兰肖邦音乐节、美国纽约州政府举办的马丁路德金纪念日、俄罗斯 Crescendo 音乐艺术节、新加坡国际儿童表演艺术节“世界天才儿童演奏会”、维也纳金门艺术节、澳洲最杰出人士颁奖会、英联邦首脑会议、著名的百老汇巨星 Dudu Fisher 的演唱会、墨尔本奥林匹克玻璃馆落成仪式、西澳洲总督府表演等。 


2009 年,年仅七岁的宣恒考取了澳洲音乐考试局钢琴八级试,成为全世界最小通过此项考试并获得优异成绩 A 的琴童。2011 年,九岁的宣恒考获了英国伦敦三一音乐学院的初级演奏文凭(ATCL),同时也成为了全世界最小考获此文凭的人。2012 年,十岁的宣恒先后考获了英国皇家音乐学院初级演奏文凭(DIPABRSM)与澳洲音乐考试局高级演奏文凭(LMUS WITH DISTINCTION),并获得了优异成绩与全年考生大奖。2016 年十月,十四岁的李宣恒考获了音乐院士演奏文凭(Fellowship in Music -Fmus),再次打破世界纪录,成为世界上最小获得此学位的人。 


宣恒曾先后接受过电视台 Sunrise、Today Tonight,Telethon 与许多广播电台的访问。2010 年,七岁的宣恒受邀参加了澳洲电视七台举办的“澳洲达人秀”节目。他弹奏的世界名曲《大黄蜂进行曲》获得电视观众无数的好评,成为澳洲家喻户晓的音乐天才神童。宣恒在八岁时出版第一张个人专辑,其中还包括了两首歌曲。宣恒在 2016 年出版了他的第二张 CD 专辑—我的音乐之旅(二)。 


除了钢琴演奏,宣恒也爱好唱歌。2014 年,11 岁的宣恒参加了”澳洲少年好声音”电视节目,在一万多参赛者中闯入了最后四十五强,成为了著名歌星 Delta Goodrem 的队员。同年在澳洲华人时报举办的歌手偶像大赛中赢得了最具潜质大奖。 


宣恒两岁半就开始作曲,至今已有三十多首作品。上千万人在网上观看过宣恒表演。除了弹琴、作曲、他还喜爱唱歌与打兵乓球。他的理想就是与人们分享他所热爱的音乐,发掘生命中丰盛、美好的音乐宝藏。他的弹奏每每启发并鼓励了许多观众与儿童们更加欣赏古典音乐。

Shuan Hern Lee – 15 Year Old Pianist, Singer and 

Composer 


15 year old Shuan Hern Lee was born in Perth, Western Australia.  He started piano, vocal, music theory and composition lessons at 2 and half with his dad, Yoon Sen Lee.    


At the age of 9, Shuan Hern obtained the Associate of the Trinity College of London piano performance recital diploma.  At the age of 10, he obtained both the DipABRSM and the L.Mus.A for piano performance of the Australian Music Examinations Board with Distinction and also the L.Mus. Prize.   


At the age of 14, he obtained the F.Mus.A diploma which is the highest honour of the Australian Music Examinations Board and also a highly rare achievement as the youngest candidate ever to achieve this diploma. 


Throughout the past years, Shuan Hern has also won various top prizes at international piano competitions including 1 st  prize at Chopin International Piano Competition in Hartford Connecticut, USA, 3 rd  prize at the Russian Music International Piano Competition in San Jose, USA, 1 st  prize at the Astana Piano Passion in Kazakhstan, various 2 nd  prizes at Horowitz International Piano Competition in Kiev, 1st Prize at the Sberbank Debut International Music Competition in Ukraine, 1 st prizes at the Serbia Internet International Piano Competition, 2nd prize at the International Bruno and Bradshaw Music Competition and 1st prize at the American Association for the Development of the Gifted and Talented Music Competition. 


In 2015,  Shuan Hern was Laureate at the highly prestigious 9 th  International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians in Novosibirsk, Russia and he also won 1st prize and Tchaikovsky prize at the Young Pianist of the North International Piano Competition in UK.   


In 2016, Shuan Hern won 1st prize at the San Marino International Piano Competition aged 15 and under.  

He also won 1st prize and the Audience Prize at the International Piano Competition for Young Musicians In 

Enschede, The Netherlands.  


In 2017, Shuan Hern won 1 st  prize at the E-piano Competition, Minnesota USA, 1 st  prize at Gold Palm 

International Piano Competition in Italy and 1 st  Prize at Schumann International Piano Competition, Germany.  


Shuan Hern has performed in Carnegie Hall at the age of 7 and performed solo recitals nationally and internationally.  He has performed in events such as International Kids Festival in Singapore, Recitals Australia concert series in Adelaide, Poland Chopin Piano Festival in Busko Droj, Golden Key Music Festival at Vienna Prayner Conservatorium, Imola Summer Music Festival and in Xiamen, China and various other countries.  Shuan Hern also performs regularly for the Government House Ballroom Rising Stars Concert series and was featured at their Beethoven Sonatas Marathon concert.  In Jan 2016, Shuan Hern was invited by the New York State government to perform for the Memorial Service of Martin Luther King and the event was broadcasted throughout USA.  He also performed as showcase pianist at the Sydney International Piano Competition in July 2016. 


With the recommendation of concert pianist, Denis Matsuev, Shuan Hern has performed with the Kazakhstan 

Philharmonic Orchestra, the National Symphonic Orchestra of Ukraine and the State Symphony Orchestra “Novaya Rossiya” at the Crescendo Music Festival in Moscow.  He had also performed with Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra of Perth, Vienna Pops Orchestra, Perth Symphony Orchestra, Armenia State Philharmonic Orchestra, Armenia State Chamber Orchestra, Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra, Imola Chamber Orchestra and the West Australian Symphony Orchestra. 


Shuan Hern had attended masterclasses and summer festivals including Colburn in USA, Oxford Philomusica Summer School, Young Musicians Music Festival in Yerevan, Armenia and Imola International Summer School in Italy.  He had masterclasses with Wha Kyung Byun, Rustem Haroudinoff, Frank Wibaut, Joan Havill and William Fong.   


Apart from piano performance, Shuan Hern won the most promising singer award at the Australian Chinese 

Times Idol singing competition 2014.  Shuan Hern has also been featured in the Voice Kids Show where he  was in Delta Goodrem's team. 


He was a recipient of the AMP Tomorrow's Fund Award 2014 and recipient for grant of Department of Culture and Arts, Australia. 


Shuan Hern has appeared regularly on media on many occasions.  These include West Australian, Australian Chinese Times, Channel 7 Today Tonight, Australia’s Got Talent Show, Sunrise Australia and other TV and radio programmes in Australia, China, Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine.  


He has recorded two CD albums, Musical Adventures 1 and Musical Adventures 2.  Besides continuing having music lessons with Yoon Sen, since 2016, Shuan Hern has been enrolled at the International Piano Academy of Imola, Italy under the tutelage of concert pianist and Chopin International Piano Competition, Warsaw, Silver medalist, Ingrid Fliter.  From 2017, With special arrangements from the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor and School of Music, Shuan Hern is currently enrolled as a part-time tertiary music student at the University of Western Australia. 


Shuan Hern used to play the cello, learning with Xiao Le Wu and violin with Hooi Tong Lee.  Shuan Hern is a 

homeschooled student with the Australian Christian College.
