Singaporean singer and songwriter Tanya Chua has recently signed on with the Universal Music Record Company, hoping the company will help her kick off a new start for her exploration in the world of music.

新加坡歌手、曲作家蔡健雅最近与环球音乐唱片公司签约，希望该公司帮她开拓世界音乐市场。

Tanya Chua has composed songs for many heavyweight singers, including pop diva Faye Wong, Eason Chan, Na Ying and Stefanie Sun.

In 1999, Chua signed a recording¹ deal with PolyGram, which was acquired by Universal Music Group a year later.

The company helped the singer release² her first self-titled Chinese album.
