不知道大家有没有注意到suppose 这个词呢，它最常见的用法是"be supposed to do…" 译为应当、应该，就如歌词中的例句"Time is supposed to heal"便是这个用法。下面要给大家强调一个四六级以及考研的重要词汇tear，这个词啊，我们最熟悉的是它的名词的一个释义:眼泪、泪水，可它作为名词还有另外一个意思是破洞、裂口。但是最重要的便是它的动词释义:撕裂、拉掉、挣开、拉伤，在这首歌里"But it don't matter it clearly doesn't tear you apart anymore"就有tear作为动词的一个用法tear something apart 使烦透，而这句歌词却译为“但这一切都不重要，我已无法再伤害你”，好好理解一下吧！
