Chanel ChanAnnouncing Our Surprise DCA, Chanel Chan of China. Through a combination of human foibles and astrological machinations by the Debate Gods on high, we have lost our Korea DCA, Joshua Park, but gained a China DCA in Chanel Chan! Ms Chanel Chan, from BFSU/UOL, has been around the Asian debating circuit for 6 years. She is one of the best judges among Asia’s current generation. She has been Chief Adjudicators of ATDO 2016, the Adjudication Core Member of Canton IV 2015, 2015 China BP and Northeast Asia Open 2014, Invited Adjudicator of 2015 Bali UADC and will be Deputy Chief Adjudicator of 2016 Thailand UADC. She has judged the EFL Grand Final of the 2016 Greece WUDC, the Grand Finals of Australs 2015 and Asian BP 2015. Being the coach of the WSDC team which has the coolest name among all, Thailand National Team(TNT), Chanel is an experienced debating coach and has participated in countless workshops in China. As a debater, she was awarded the Champion and Grandfinal’s Best Speaker of the Assumptions University Debate Open 2015, the ESL Grand Finalist in LSE Open 2013, and two consecutive champions in Canton IV (2013 & 2014).
