《海盗电台Vol.11：离开披头士就对了》

1968年，一位来自马萨诸塞州波士顿的美国音乐人带着他的吉他前往伦敦，前往Beatles的唱片公司试唱。这位音乐人便是James Taylor。

在这之前，他的demo经由一位朋友交给了Beatles的成员Paul McCartney。Paul很喜欢James Taylor的音乐风格，并邀请他前来试唱，以便将Taylor签到Apple Records旗下。

尽管James Taylor回忆当年自己在摇滚传奇面前演出自己的歌时非常紧张，但那次试唱非常成功，唱片公司在当年12月便为他发行了首张个人专辑。

 
那张专辑不尽人意，泰勒换到了另一个唱片公司旗下。后来，凭借着《Fire and Rain 》、《You’ve Got A Friend》等歌曲让全世界都看到了他的才华。但他在Apple Records那张专辑却很稀有，高音质的唱盘更是一片难求。

我一直是James Taylor的忠实乐迷，所以我很高兴能在本周找到了这张黑胶唱片。在本周六的节目里，我将在本周六的节目中分享一首歌曲。这期节目还有Bryan Adams、Crosby，Stills&Nash以及Beatles的经典歌曲。
