Megawatt singer and diva extraordinaire Mariah Carey is set to return to the Chinese mainland for the first time in four years this autumn.
Cow Sister, as she's known in these parts, will be performing in Shenzhen on October 22 - is that too early for a rendition of 'All I Want for Christmas is You'? Pretty sure we heard it in a restaurant last week in Shanghai, so we're going to say no, definitely not.
Her Shenzhen appearance is part of an Asia tour that will see her stop off in Singapore and Macau after shows in Australia. Back in 2014 the singer toured to Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Tianjin, and our own Hongkou Stadium - though there's been no word just yet from organisers Live Nation as to whether she'll be belting out her hits in Shanghai on this occasion.
We will of course let you know as soon as we hear anything concrete. For now, tickets for the Shenzhen show go on sale on the morning of July 1.
