The Tower首次发行在2001年《Waking Hour》专辑中，由华裔女创作人Vienna Teng-史逸欣演唱。华裔成功打入美国主流音乐的例子不多，而擅长自己作词作曲，又是从高科技人员转行的史逸欣可说是其中的佼佼者。
