当这世界把你视为异类,你还试图去挑战就离伟大不远了

只有伟大的”异类”，才能在精神世界中真正浸染你的心境，触动你内心最深处的神经。而我们要说的不是哲学家柏拉图。Skrillex才是我们的主人公。他用他太多的超凡与不同，让太多人觉得：正常人引领不了这个世界。

In 1988, Skrillex (Sonny John Moore) was born in Los Angeles. When 12, he entered art school. However, he was bullied because of his height and he tattoo his name on his own lips to warn himself not to be lost. However, the classmates even think him strange, which led him to drop out of school at the age of 14, and he barely mentioned this period. When 16, destiny made another joke to him--he was an adopter,which almost changed his life.

If everything that happened before the age of 17 is arranged by god. Then, Skrillex started another life. "The moment my parents told me about it, it was such a shocking moment for a 16-year-old boy. This is another reason for me to explore myself: traveling and making music."

Stopping singing, Skrillex began his independent career. At this time, he has completely determined his other world. Music is all he has, and it is the method to explode his emotion.

来到电子音乐的世界，死老鼠Deadmau5成为他最初的领路人并与其开始世界巡回演出。第一张EP《My Name Is Skrillex》的发行让“Skrillex”这个名字开始快速传播。随后，第二张EP《Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites》中的《Kill EVERYBODY》成为夜店的热门歌曲，并获得了2012年格莱美最佳舞曲录制与最佳电子/舞曲专辑奖。也是在这一年，Skrillex首次进入DJ Mag百大DJ第19名。2013年9月，Skrillex与Diplo成立双人组「Jack Ü」，并于2015年进入DJ Mag百大DJ第45名。

两年间，多次提名，8座格莱美奖。Skrillex已经向大家完美展现了他的音乐造诣，今年，他依然占据了TOP 100DJs #21的名次。无数人听他的歌，感受他的作品，最后爱上他的音乐。世界上有两种remix，Skrillex和其他。

与此同时，Skrillex也不再是那个传闻中的“异类”小孩。相反，他善良热心，并投身于公益事业，在他的INS里，记录着自己一点一滴的“新”生活：曾经因跳水而砸伤台下的Raver；在LA的街头因为音乐放得太大声被交警拦下拘捕；15年直接从DJ台蹦下来。除此之外，铺天盖地的都是猫与狗的照片。他的作品《Scary Monsters and nice sprites》也一度被粉丝们称为是一首可以有效阻止昆虫交配以及降低其繁殖能力的音乐。

Skrillex is unlike those “bad guys”. Instead, he was kind and enthusiastic, and devoted himself to public welfare. In his INS, he recorded his “new” life bit by bit: Raver, who had been injured by because of diving; He was arrested because his music was too loud on the streets of LA; he jumped straight from the DJ booth in 2015. And the rest were about cats and dogs. His work "Scary Monsters and nice sprites" was once called insect mating preventer by fans.

Skrillex为他真正的粉丝们带来了太多感动，不仅仅只有音乐。“电音界的Linkin Park”、“Dubstep大神”、“电子音乐天才”...这都是粉丝为他起的殊荣，当然还有诙谐幽默的“旋转的拖把头”以及为他制作的大量搞怪表情包。

Skrillex has touched his fans too much, not just music. "Linkin Park in the electronic world", "Dubstep God", "Electronic Music Genius" ... these are the honors that fans have made for him, of course, "spinning-mop like head" and a lot of funny emojis made for him are also a must.

很容易理解为什么有太多人对skrillex有着如此特殊的感情：或许他代表了曾经那个异类和不被人理解我。如今现实世界的阳光灿烂，其实完全得益于他心中的那个乌托邦世界：做一个有信仰的人并对此充满信心。

It's easy to understand why so many people have such a special feeling for skrillex: maybe he represents that strange and incomprehensible us. Today's bright sun in the real world is actually due to the utopian world in his heart: be a believer and have confidence in himself.

12月17日，曾经被定义为的“非主流”的Skrillex将会来到我们的现场，曾经承载着90后电音记忆的他，不知道会在当晚触动多少人。我们希望当晚的你可以在Skrillex的音乐中，找到自己的另一个世界。
