     寇比·凯蕾（Colbie Caillat），1985年5月28日出生于美国加利福尼亚，美国女歌手、演员。其父Ken Caillat正是民谣摇滚奇乐团 Fleetwood Mac写下辉煌销售成绩经典大作 《Rumours》、《Tusk》的幕后制作推手﹔11岁时，Lauryn Hill红透半边天的《Killing Me Softly》让她开始向往成为歌手，不过她的父亲告诫她能够拥有动人的歌喉虽然美好，但是在音乐界真正受人推崇的往往是词曲创作者，于是Colbie决定往全方位音乐人目标迈进。孩童时代接受过古典钢琴训练的，她在19岁时学习吉他，才结束第一堂课程就用吉他写下了第一首歌曲。2007年，寇比凭借单曲《Bubbly》成名。同年发行了首张专辑《Coco》；2009年1月，寇比和杰森·玛耶兹合作的单曲《Lucky》获得第52届格莱美奖最佳流行合唱大奖，8月25日，寇比发行第二张专辑《Breakthrough》；2010年，寇比入围第52届格莱美音乐奖四项大奖 ；2011年7月，寇比发行了第三张专辑《All Of You》；2014年9月30日，寇比的第四张专辑《Gypsy Heart》正式发行；2016年10月7日发行独立制作的五张专辑《The Malibu Sessions》 。2009年12月7日，寇比入选《公告牌杂志》评选的00年代销量最佳的歌手第94位 。截止现在，寇比的全球唱片销量达1600万张（其中全球专辑销量达600万张，全球单曲销量达1000万张）.

     Colbie Caillat的发迹过程被美国媒体形容为“部落神话”。Colbie最初只是单纯地把吉他创作放到MySpace与网友分享，没想到创作单曲Bubbly点播超达2,000多万次，先被美国6,240位创作人士部落格串联推荐，之后如滚雪球般的变成22万名网友将她添加部落格好友名单。在没有与唱片公司签订合约之前，Colbie Caillat的Myspace空间连续四个月中都是所有未签约的艺人中浏览量最高的，平均每天超过了5万次，可见她在歌迷当中积累下来的人气。
