昨晚开车夜行。夜色中听了一些曾经熟悉的歌，包括Bette Midler的几首老歌： Wind Beneath My Wings，When a Man Loves a Woman, and From a Distance。

当年NBC Tonight Show 老牌主播Johnny Carson职业生涯最后一秀的最后一个嘉宾就是Midler。好些年没听了。现在人唱歌基本上都是rapping。

听着她的From a Distance，很有些空蒙的感觉。

远处看，长远观，一切都不是事儿。

Harmony！ Peace！ 

这两句话最有意思：

两个固定过招的对手，无论是每日喋喋不休的老年夫妻，还是Al Pacino与Bob De Niro在《盗火线》（Heat）中扮演的警察与大盗，彼此的存在给了对方的生活以意义。

It renders a context，though it might be constraining or even suffocating。

虽然是在磕绊与争斗，但鸟瞰下来，两人是在固定的场景和时间出现，重复地出现，就像老朋友，谁也离不开谁。

Better fighting with someone than having nobody to fight with。

It reminds you of your very being。

To fight with someone，something。 

没有了这种过招，就只剩下了自己。那时，已经无所谓爱与恨。Love and War。No More。Only withering memories。

You are alone！

生活没有了参照系的时候，便也没有意义了。

过了一定人生阶段，你不可能重塑自己，重塑自己的生活。

你也不可能把自己放在From A Distance的位置上。还要置身其中。

However：

Your context is dead！So are you, virtually。

生命就是折腾。折腾别人，折腾自己，跟别人一起折腾。

From a distance, it looks like you are enjoying youself, no matter what you do, and whom you do it with. 

All the pain, agnoy, misery, torment, and anxiety，and, hopefully, occasional happiness, and, if you are lucky, ecstasy! 

They are real. 

Life is but a form of Behaviroal Art！
