以色列钢琴家Oleg Roschin 的原创爵士乐将欧洲古典音乐与基督教音乐结合，加以融合爵士的即兴创作。在这些作品中能听到Oleg对古典音乐家们如巴赫、马勒、肖斯塔科维奇等人的致敬，演绎具有古典音乐气质的爵士乐。

Oleg Roschin, the Israeli piano prince, impresses the jazz world by his original combination of classic music and Gospel with improvise composition. If you study classic music, you will find he pays tribute to Bach, Mahler and Shostakovich in his original works.

The Canadian bassist Brian Hurley is brilliant on the stage when playing the bass. The music he composed is so pleased to the ear that attracts the attention of every single audience. Tonight the trio will feature a special guest and perform modern jazz for us, stay tuned.

Al Gordon的世界空间艺术乐队

毕业于加州大学伯克利分校的鼓手Al Gordon，曾与包括Diana Krall、Sinne Eeg、Junior Cook、Eddie Henderson在内的各类爵士音乐人合作，更是格莱美奖获得者BillHeid钦点的巡回鼓手。

Al Gordon was graduated in University of California Berkeley Music Performance. Heworked with many jazz musicians such as Diana Krall, Sinne Eeg, Junior Cook,Eddie Henderson. He also cooperated with Grammy Awards winner Bill Heid.

托比.麦五重奏是澳大利亚爵士小号演奏家/作曲家的传统爵士音乐企划, 本场演出将由Toby Mak携手顾忠山, 胡清文, Steinar Nickelson及 Charlie Foldesh-- 黄金爵士五重奏阵容携手为上海JZ Club的乐迷演绎一系列Toby Mak的原创及改编传统爵士作品。

Toby Mak is an Australian jazz artist who is still active. When Toby was young, he learnt trumpet from Gil Askey and experienced in Melbourne art college. In 2003, he broke into finalist in the trumpet solo competition, the Wangarrata. In the same year, he released the debut album Joyful and after that his music went popular all around the world, from New York to Hongkong. Toby now is based in Shanghai and play with the local artists in jazz music. This Wednesday, he together with Lawrence Ku, Kevin Hu, Steinar Nickelson and Charles Foldesh will team up with a jazz quintet and make your eyes wide open.

Li Xiaochuan, jazz trumpeter, composer and educator, who has been one of China's premier jazz musicians since his emergence. His musical expression and creativity has truly shown China and the world amazing possibilities in music. Following the release of his latest album The New Age, he will bring a total new age to China’s jazz trumpet.

Mikhail Kalinin是一名吉他手，毕业于莫斯科的艺术大学，2005年开始参与各种音乐企划，从爵士到嘻哈，也与各类音乐人合作。也许你不认识爵士音乐人Misha Kalinli，但这个月逢周五、周六的早场一定会让你见识到他及他的四重奏的魅力，相约JZ Club，过一盘爵士瘾吧。

Mikhail Kalinin is the Guitar player and composer, studied music at renowned Arts University in Moscow during 5 years. Starting from 2005 he took part in many different famous projects in different kind of music styles from jazz to hip-hop. Cooperated with many famous musicians and being a part of bands he has been touring Europe, Russia, Asia. At the current time he is working and lives in Shanghai.

Noukilla 是一支由来自岛国毛里求斯的音乐家组成的乐队团体, 他们于2005年来到中国的上海。他们开始在这座城市里和不同的乐队合作并翻唱了不同的歌曲,与此同时他们也定期聚在一起表演来自他们遥远家乡的音乐。他们对音乐全身心投入的爱终于在2010年催生了Noukilla乐队的成立，Noukilla在他们的家乡的意思就是“我们到了”。之后他们就源源不断地给歌迷们带来大量原创歌曲和他们特有的Sega/Seggae混合音乐风格。粉丝们都用“阳光、多姿多彩、热情洋溢、欢乐、充满活力和随时带来好心情”等溢美之词来称赞这支乐队。

Noukilla总是有一种强烈的舞台感染力，可以把笑容播撒到每个人的脸上。他们不同的民族和文化背景（非洲、印度、英国和法国）使得他们的音乐融合了多样的元素。你可以从克里奥耳语、法语和英语等不同语言组成的歌词里体会到这种多元文化带来的新鲜体验。Noukilla – 舞台上的一缕阳光。

Noukilla are five friends from the Island of Mauritius, who came to Shanghai in 2005. While playing cover songs with different bands in the city and working as session musicians at the same time, they regularly came together to play tunes from their far away home. Under the name of Gymga – Gilbert, Yan, Macleen, Giovani and Alain – they recorded their first CD with Reggae cover songs.The mixture of their different ethnicities and backgrounds (African/Indian/British/French) reflects in their music with lyrics in Creole, French and English. Right now the band is preparing their first official release for the beginning of next year.

布鲁塞尔五重奏由五位相熟的朋友们组成，他们分别活跃于各自不同的乐团中，期间相互学习、即兴演出，在杭州黄楼爵士俱乐部的邀请下相聚在一起，组成了这个基于jazz standard音乐的爵士乐队。

他们将在黄楼爵士俱乐部表演3个月（2016年1月-3月），在此期间五位极具个人风格的现代音乐家们将深入探讨爵士传统，发展出个性的共鸣，重新编曲经典曲目，呈现全新的表达。

The Brussels Quintet is a special project formed by a bunch of friends and colleagues who after having collaborated, studied, jammed with each other for years on different professional projects had the opportunity to focus on the traditional repertoire of jazz standards thanks to the invitation made by the prestigious jazz club JZ of Hangzhou, China.

The residency lasts for three months during which the band has the possibility to get deep into the knowledge and the mastering of the jazz tradition, develop a unique sound and approach, thanks to five modern and absolutely personal styles

involved in the process of reinterpreting the classic repertoire.
