Two heads are better than one means two people working together have a better chance of solving a problem than one person working alone.
其实就是我们汉语里的“三个臭皮匠，顶个诸葛亮”的意思，只不过里面的数字表达不一样罢了。

To determine, guess, or infer something from the available evidence, especially something that is very obvious or easy to guess.
put two and two together 字面意思是把二和二放一起，其实是根据所见所闻推定，综合判断，或者作出比较容易的猜测。

我们多在口语交流中用这个表达强调根据已知的一些情况来判断事情的真相。
