Aha,after chitchatting with my daughter-like student and guiding her how to choose her major,it raises my spirits to listen to "The Climb",a most inspirational song tugging at my heartstrings.Haha,as a seasoned teacher experienced in instructing students to pursue their pursuits at college, I see life is a never-ending journey where we will climb mountains one by one,we will fight uphill battles one after another and we will reach our destination step by step.This song tells us a universal truth: during our bumpy and long journey,we must hope for the best and prepare for the worst.What counts is keeping on moving,maintaining our faith and getting strong.What makes sense is to be sober,to be well aware of the hardship ahead and to be wide awake to the very fact that during our climbing the mountain of our life ,the essence lies in not how fast we can scale the peak or what is waiting on the way but how we hold our head high and avoid losing our direction.
After walking one hour indoors and half an hour outdoors and eating some peaches,grapes,cakes and drinking a cup of milk,it delights and excites me more than I can convey in English to listen to 'Climb' again and again.It gladdens me giantly to watch the MTV over and over.It heartens me hugely to see the beautiful image of Miley Cyrus,a notable American singer,composer and actress,and hear her sing the song with her own accompanying of the guitar time and time again.Oh,as long as you love English songs head over heels,however old you are,be it two or twenty or eighty two or one hundred and two,whatever circumstances you are in,be it affluent or poverty-stricken,comfortable or miserable,satisfying or unsatisfying,you are bound to fall victim to 'The Climb',not only because the singer's voice is so earpleasing and heartwarming but also because the contents are thought-provoking and morale-boosting.Haha,Miley Cyrus,as her name suggests,is both a singer and philosopher,so she can produce such a philosophic song as 'The Climb',which I can not love too profusely.Just as the editress introduces,just as the song sings,just as our elegant Mumu points it out,life is a never-ending journey of climbing mountains one after another,and what counts is not how fast we can get there,not what is waiting on the other side but that we must keep our faith,and that we must keep on climbing.Oh,I have climbed 58 mountains so far,but I know there is another uphill battle,there is another mountain,so, I want to get it move.
