Ariana Grande is an American singer and actress. She began her career in 2008 in the Broadway musical 13, before playing the role of Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon television series Victorious, and in the spinoff Sam & Cat until 2014. She has also appeared in other theatre and television roles and has lent her voice to animated television and films. As a child, Grande performed with the Fort Lauderdale Children's Theater, playing her first role as the title character in Annie. She also performed in the musicals The Wizard of Oz and Beauty and the Beast. At the age of 8, she performed at a karaoke lounge on a cruise ship and with various orchestras such as South Florida's Philharmonic, Florida Sunshine Pops and Symphonic Orchestras, and she made her first national television appearance singing "The Star-Spangled Banner" for the Florida Panthers.

Love Me Harder is a song recorded by American singer Ariana Grande and Canadian singer The Weeknd from Grande's second studio album, My Everything (2014). It was released by Republic Records on September 30, 2014, as the fourth single from the album. In the United States, the song peaked at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Grande's fourth consecutive top-ten single off the album and making her the artist with the most top-ten singles in 2014. The song also became The Weeknd's first top ten entry in the US. "Love Me Harder" received critical acclaim, with musicians complimenting the "haunting instrumental" and calling it "Ariana's best single to date." Stephen Thomas Erlewine of AllMusic noted that Grande allowed The Weeknd to "suck up" the spotlight on the track.

Dangerous Woman


Dangerous Woman is a song recorded by American singer Ariana Grande, serving as the lead single for her third studio album of the same name (2016). It was co-written and produced by Johan Carlsson and Ross Golan, with additional writing from Max Martin. The recording was released as the first single from the album on March 11, 2016, the same date of the album's pre-order on iTunes Store. "Dangerous Woman" is a mid-tempo pop and R&B song, incorporating an arena rock chorus and a guitar solo during its bridge. "'Dangerous Woman' is about choice and empowerment and strength and romance. As a person, as a character, as a persona. 'Dangerous Woman' is a fearless, honest, no bulls--- superhuman, and I think all of us have her inside of us and it's just a matter of when we decide to let her out." Problem


Problem was written by both alongside Savan Kotecha, Ilya and Max Martin, being produced by the latter two with Shellback, with Peter Carlsson serving as a vocal producer. The song was released by Republic Records on April 28, 2014, as the lead single from Grande's second studio album My Everything (2014). "Problem" is an uptempo dance-pop song with influences of R&B music, which comprises a melody based on drums, saxophone loops, and trumpets. The chorus features uncredited background vocals from American hip hop artist Big Sean. Lyrically, Grande has stated that the song is about "the feeling of being absolutely terrified to re-approach a relationship that's gone sour – but you want to more than anything."

Side to Side is a song recorded by American singer Ariana Grande, released on August 30, 2016, as the third single from her studio album, Dangerous Woman (2016). A reggae-pop song, with dancehall influences, and features guest vocals from American rapper Nicki Minaj. The song peaked at number 4 on both the US Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart, becoming her first top-five single from Dangerous Woman in the former and first top-ten single from the album in the latter. It also reached number 4 on the Canadian Hot 100, number 3 on the Australian chart and number 2 in the New Zealand chart. It is her second single to top the US Mainstream Top 40 airplay chart. Stephen Thomas Erlewine of AllMusic noted that its sound is comparable to works from Barbadian singer Rihanna.

Focus is a song recorded by American singer Ariana Grande. It was released on October 30, 2015 through Republic Records and was originally intended to be the lead single from Grande's third studio album, Dangerous Woman. However, "Dangerous Woman" replaced it as the lead single, and the song was later removed from the standard edition track listing, only being included as a bonus track on the Japanese edition of the album. The song received generally mixed reviews by music critics. Many critics praised the singer's vocals and the song brassy production while other viewed its similarities to Problem as a negative point. Commercially, "Focus" debuted at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100, selling 113,000 downloads in its first week, becoming Grande's sixth top-ten single, and first unaccompanied by a featured artist.


One Last Time


One Last Time is a dance-pop and EDM song. Its instrumentation consists of sampled drums and a synth line. The single reached the top-twenty in twelve countries, including Australia, Canada, France, the United Kingdom and the United States, where it became Grande's sixth top-twenty single on the US Billboard Hot 100. The single's peak of number 13 on the US Billboard Hot 100 ended Grande's streak of consecutive top ten hits from 2014. It was later certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA). The song was critically acclaimed by music critics. In contrast, Evan Sawdey of PopMatters observed that the song "strikes all the dance-pop and EDM-lite poses it needs to without leaving any significant impression afterwards."

Bang Bang


Bang Bang is a song recorded by British singer Jessie J, American singer Ariana Grande, and American rapper and singer Nicki Minaj. As of 2017, the song has sold 3.6 million copies in the US. On various dates in July 2014, each of the artists uploaded a snippet of the song on their Instagram profiles: Jessie J on July 9, Minaj on July 23, and Grande on July 4. Vulture's Lindsey Weber thought the song was "no Lady Marmalade" but praised it saying "it's catchy enough to make a huge splash in the music history". Chris Martins from Spinstated that the song is "powerful", and credits Minaj for the song's noteworthy energy. "What makes the track so big? Well, um, ask Nicki Minaj." He goes on to further praise Minaj's performance on the song, affirming that "The "Anaconda"-taming MC rips a few mics on the loud and proud pop-soul song".



Break Free


Break Free is a song by Ariana Grande featuring Russian-German music producer Zedd. Grande began dropping hints about her second single on social media throughout the month of June but did not confirm that it was her Zedd collaboration until June 21, at which point she also revealed the song's name on Twitter. To build hype, Grande started an online countdown for the ten days leading up to "Break Free" ‘s release. On June 28, Grande uploaded a teaser video with a snippet of the song to her Instagram account. Break Free was nominated at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards in the Break-Up Song category. It was also nominated for Top Dance/Electronic Song at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards. 



The Way


The Way is a song recorded by American singer Ariana Grande for her debut studio album, Yours Truly (2013). It was written by the song's producer Harmony Samuels, alongside Amber Streeter. In the United States the song debuted at No. 10 and peaked at No. 9 on U.S. Billboard Hot 100 becoming Grande and Miller's first top ten song on the chart. This made Grande the first top 10 arrival for a lead female artist making her first Hot 100 appearance since Yael Naim, who launched with "New Soul" back in 2008. As of March 2016, "The Way" has sold 2.3 million copies in the United States and has been certified triple platinum. "The Way" sold over 120,000 units in the first 48 hours. Having sold over 219,000 units in its opening week,
