Beijing's first ever Grammy Festival is bringing in some huge names
Grammy-winners in Beijing are like buses in London: you wait years or aeons for one, then a deluge comes at once.
OneRepublic.
Specifically, four, in the shape of 11-time winner Pharrell Williams, Macy Gray, Daya and Phoenix, who will all be performing at China's first ever Grammy Festival, which will be held at Beijing's Changyang Music Theme Park on April 30. Joining them will be Grammy nominees Carly Rae Jepsen, OneRepublic, and other still to be announced acts.
Carly Rae Jepsen.
Phoenix.
We know, this is huge deal. Perhaps it's not altogether surprising, considering Pharrell has been making sweet with the Chinese market for a while now – you might have seen him performing with K-Pop star Kris Wu last Singles' Day.
Macy Gray.
Tickets are not yet on sale but we'll be selling them off Time Out Tickets within the next couple weeks – keep checking back on our site for further details.
